Holo Footwear
HOLO Footwear came to R\West as they were entering their second year as a brand. Having found success with retail partners such as Nordstrom, REI and Macy’s; they wanted to charge beyond those retail walls and become an established, identifiable company and launch their own direct to consumer website in just six short months. HOLO, who makes “sustainably-made shoes crafted for everyone” wanted their manifesto to be represented in the site’s design. The top priorities were to introduce consumers to vibrant colorways and available styles, make the "add to cart" interaction quick and easy, and enable users to engage with the site beyond the shopping cart.
Working with R\West and Bitlore; we were able to build a fully editable, responsive, intuitive website powered by WordPress and Shopify. I was responsible for overseeing the project’s development in its entirety from kickoff to go-live. I also assisted with the WordPress development and worked collaboratively with the client and design team, ensuring the website passed quality assurance testing and met web accessibility standards. It was a pleasure working with the team at HOLO Footwear who are passionate about their vision to give everyone the opportunity to go outside and explore in stylish, sustainable and affordable performance footwear.
